Individual Therapy Sessions
Individual therapy (also known as “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is a unique and collaborative process that provides individuals with the opportunity for change and self-growth within the context of a safe one-on-one relationship.
I incorporate evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral principles into all parts of treatment along with genuine sensitivity, understanding, and compassion. While in individual therapy, one will gain deeper insight and awareness into their own emotional experiences, behavior and thought patterns. Although some may believe that therapy can be a painful and difficult experience, most individuals find therapy to be extremely supportive, validating, healing, and empowering.
